Temporarily setting aside the philosophical discussion of how art intangibly improves life, I hope to use my art to make positive tangible change in the world. Some of the proceeds from my art sales go to organizations in my community, state, and country that are trying to create a better world for all its inhabitants, and I keep an eye out for charity auctions where I can donate pieces or prints.
50% of the profits from the sales of these three card designs are donated to the Xerces Society for Invertebrate Conservation, NH Audubon, and a humane society in New Hampshire (usually either the Lakes Region Humane Society in Ossipee, or the Pope Memorial SPCA in Concord), respectively.

I donated the paintings “Inspiration Point” and “Autumn on Trigg’s” to the NH PBS online auction in the spring of 2026.

I donated a print of “Winter Light” to the New Hampshire Peace Action online auction in September 2026.

I also donate (more or less regularly) to the ACLU, the Lakes Region Conservation Trust, LIFE Ministries Food Pantry in Wolfeboro, the Nature Conservancy, and World Central Kitchen.
